There will be an emphasis on playing musically and listening to the group for cohesion and timbre. We will be practicing playing in the traditional way with no conductor as well as splitting into groups to play antiphonally.

You do not need to own an alphorn to participate in this event! There will be alphorns available for rental for a fee of $80.

Day 4
Sunday, October 5th

We will meet in the morning at 10:00am for the gondola ride up to High Camp, where we will give a morning concert while enjoying stunning views of the mountains and Lake Tahoe from 8,200 feet of elevation. We will play from 11:00am until 12:30pm.  There may not be any shade available while at High Camp, so sun protection and drinking plenty of water is highly recommended.
